Lillie Johnson named GNC Player of the Year

ESCANABA –Gladstone junior Lillie Johnson has accomplished a lot on the basketball court so far.
She’s netted over 1,000 career points. She’s Gladstone girls’ basketball’s all-time rebounding leader. She’s two points away from being the program’s all time leading scorer.
She even earned First Team All-State honors in Division 2 despite being a Division 3 player last season.
Johnson adds one more accolade to her already decorated resume –Great Northern Conference Player of the Year.
After averaging 21.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.9 steals and 2.8 assists per game, Johnson earned the honor for the second-consecutive season. Johnson was also named GNC Defensive Player of the Year honors.
