Nault makes history, BR-H ladies topple Carney-Nadeau
HARRIS –With a 32-30 lead in hand with under a minute to play Bark River-Harris junior Julia Nault fired from 3-point range.
She knocked it down for her eighth made 3-pointer of the night, shattering the school record in the process.
Nault finished with 26 points as the Broncos earned a 45-30 Skyline Central Conference win over Carney-Nadeau on Thursday.
BR-H (6-12) have now won four of its last six games and earned its first home win since knocking off Gwinn 45-41 on Jan. 9.
The Wolves (9-8) got 14 points from Grace Maule and 12 points from Mariska Laurila, both seniors.
BR-H senior Marissa Ives added eight points.
The Broncos trip to face North Central at 7:49 p.m. Tuesday.
