DEPERE (Wis.) –Junior Nolan Bink’s hat trick proved to be the difference in Escanaba hockey’s 4-2 road win over DePere on Friday.

Bink netted all three of his goals in the third period. His first goal broke a 1-1 tie 3:26 into the frame, his second of the night came on the power play for a 3-1 lead. His third and final goal came with 46 seconds left on the clock to ice the game.

Alex Schwalback netted the Eskymos first goal. Owen LaBonte added two assists and Griffin Johnson earned a helper. Cully Hayes amassed 34 saves in the win.

The Eskymos return home to face Ashwaubenon (Wis.) at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
