CARNEY — A high school of 61 students may not come across as a school that gets to pick and choose talent freely like a Division 2 or 1 school.

But for Hannahville the 2024-25 boys’ basketball season is off to a torrid start. At the beginning of 2025 the Soaring Eagles sit at 5-1 on the current season with a Carney-Nadeau Holiday Tournament championship, and there’s no shortage of talent.

One of those players happens to be senior Jayden Sagataw. Daily Press sports writer Adam Hinch sat down with Sagataw at the Carney-Nadeau Holiday Tournament to discuss a variety of topics.
