Escanaba boys and girls basketball coaches and players will proved a four-week fundamental basketball camp for first through sixth grade students in the Escanaba and Holy name school systems. The camp runs on Saturday’s on Sept. 21, Sept. 28, Oct. 5 and Oct. 19 at the Escanaba Upper Elementary school.

The emphasis of the program will be for campers to have fun and learn the fundamentals of basketball. Fifth and sixth graders will reports at 8 a.m. and have the first half of camp be based on fundamentals and the other half will be competition. Third and fourth graders will reports at 9 a.m. and first and second graders will report at 10 a.m.

The cost is $40. Campers will receive a t-shirt and four hours of basketball instruction. Campers can register on the first day of the camp. Copies of the sign up sheets are also available at The Daily Press office.
