Roy Aho’s letter (March 18th), entitled “Respect for Zelensky” is a perfect example of the deranged hysteria gripping those who still can’t accept the fact that Americans are tired of writing blank checks to Ukraine while our own country falls apart. His desperate attempt to link Trump, Vance, and Musk to Russia is nothing more than an unhinged conspiracy theory straight from the fever swamps of the left.

Let’s talk about what really happened in that Oval Office meeting. Zelenskyy — the supposed “pillar of honesty and integrity”– came to Washington like an ungrateful beggar, demanding more billions from hardworking American taxpayers while showing zero appreciation for what we’ve already given him. Instead of humility, he brought arrogance. Instead of thanks, he brought entitlement. And when leaders like Trump and Vance dared to ask tough questions about accountability, suddenly it was an “ambush”? No, it was long overdue.

The real disgrace here is how the Biden administration has drained our resources, weakened our military, and ignored our own border crisis while funneling endless money to a war with no strategy and no clear U.S. interest. Ukraine is not the 51st state. Zelenskyy is not our president. And the American people deserve better than being lectured for questioning this endless money pit.

If Aho is “afraid” of the future, maybe he should start worrying about our economy, our sovereignty, and the crime in our own cities rather than parroting absurd Russian-collusion hoaxes that were debunked years ago.
