Behavior during speech

EDITOR:

A while back you printed a letter from a gentleman who claimed that the only difference between Democrats and Republicans is “who they hate”.

I disagree, I believe the differences between the two were on full display during President Trump’s speech Tuesday (3/4) night.

The Abby Gate bombing in Afganistan killed 13 U.S. troops. Republicans stood and cheered the news that the bombings master mind was in U.S. custody. Democrats remained seated.

Republicans cheered the news that the Ukraine has decided to join peace talks. Despite displaying the Ukraine’s colors, Democrats stayed seated.

When President Trump saluted a female volleyball player who suffered a brain injury from a ball spiked by a transgender person with a “Y” chromosome, Republicans stood and cheered. As for the Democrats, well despite wearing pink they either held up cute little signs that said “false” or they sat on their hands.

When President Trump spoke about keeping his promise to a 95 year old woman to bring her son home from a Russian prison, the 95 year old lady stood with Republicans to cheer. As for our Democratic friends, they sat, but a few held up signs that said “Musk Steals”.

When President Trump saluted a fire fighter who died in Butler, PA while shielding his family from gunfire, his widow stood with her daughters holding back tears while Republicans gave her husband a standing ovation. Once again, Democrats refused to budge.

Nothing could have been more bi-partisan than when President Trump made a 13 year old brain cancer survivor a secret service agent. I damn near cried when that little man threw his arms around the secret service agents neck and hugged him. Again Democrats were unmoved.

I could continue this for hours, but I think that I have made my point.

In closing, I would like to add that I saw nothing on the right that smacked of Nazism, just a group of people who love the country and the citizens in it. As for the left, I didn’t see humanity at all.
