Paul R. Baker

He was born on April 9, 1963 in Escanaba, son of John Allen and Mary Virginia (Valentine) Baker. Paul was raised in Escanaba and graduated from Escanaba High School, class of 1981.

Over the years, Paul worked as a cook and an accomplished chef in George and Escanaba, and was currently employed with Drifters. He was previously a chef at the Terrace and the House of Ludington.

Paul was a person that appreciated quiet and peaceful solitary moments. He loved golfing and being with family.

He is survived by his siblings, Mickey (Mike) Connor, Jim (Erica) Baker, Cathy (Phil) Hurst, Julie (Dan) Campbell, and Patti (Mike) Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Baker in 1995.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
