Eileen Marie Williamson

ESCANABA — Eileen Marie Williamson, age 90, of Escanaba and formerly of Rapid River, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.

Eileen was born February 8, 1935, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of John and Hannah (Baker) Tarrant.

Eileen was united in marriage to Gerald Williamson on April 7, 1956. He preceded her in death in 2022.

Eileen enjoyed downhill and cross country skiing. She also liked gardening and traveling.

Eileen is survived by son, Edward (Tina) Williamson of Lorain, Ohio; daughter, Marybeth (Joseph) Gendron of Gladstone, Mich.; grandchildren, Shannon (Travis) Barnett, Aimee Gendron and Justin, Stacey Peterson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, and loving spouse, Eileen is preceded in death by brothers, Jack, William, Edward, and Eugene Tarrant; sisters, Maggie Porzio and Noreen Caposey.
