Catherine Ann Grondine

She was born on December 15, 1948 in Escanaba, daughter to Anthony and Katherine (Krebs) Ayotte. Catherine was raised in Hermansville and graduated from Hermansville High School in 1967.

Catherine was employed at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility as a dietary aide for many years, retiring in 2022.

Catherine enjoyed going on shopping trips and gardening her flowers. She loved eating out with her cousin, Brenda; drinking craft beer with her friend, Henry; and visiting her friend and neighbor, Sue. She cherished time with her family especially sleepovers with her great-granddaughters.

Among survivors are her daughter, Jacalyn (Greg Lauscher) Grondine of Hermansville; grandson, Kyle (Lindsey) Bellefeuil; two great-granddaughters, Presley and Kendall Bellefeuil; two sisters, Jeannette (Jim) Andersen and Nancy (Charles) Gyselink; special Godson and nephew, Cody Wolsker in addition to many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Susan Faccio and June Mileski.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 16 from 1 to 2 p.m. (Central Time) at St. Neumann Catholic Church in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2 p.m. (Central Time) At the conclusion of the mass, a meal will be served in the church hall.

Burial will take place in Meyer Twp. Cemetery in Hermansville.
