CORNELL — Sharon L. Dahl, age 82, of Cornell, passed away Thursday morning, March 6, 2025 at Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba.

She was born on May 6, 1942 in Escanaba, the daughter of Ward and Eileen (Sandborn) Bintner. Sharon was raised in Escanaba and was a member of the Escanaba High School Graduating Class of 1960. Sharon married Robert Dahl on January 25, 1964 in Cornell, Mich. Together, the couple shared 55 years of marriage and raised three children, Shelly, Michael, and Robert. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert on August 30, 2019.  She was a homemaker and was very proud of her children.

She was a member of the Methodist church in Cornell. A good rummage sale with plenty of treasures to rummage through was a great day. She enjoyed listening to their collection of country music. She enjoyed going to camp and enjoying the outdoors.

Sharon L. Dahl is survived by her children: daughter, Shelly (Marty) Heikkinen of Cornell; son, Michael (Joan) Dahl of Cornell; grandsons, Robert Heikkinen of Flat Rock, and Todd Dahl of Cornell; granddaughter, Lacey (Austin) Williams of Alberta, Minnesota; great-granddaughter Remington Williams; several nieces and nephews; and two brothers, Mike (Mary) Bintner and Dale (Janet) Bintner of Escanaba.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Robert J. Dahl.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Sharon will follow at 4 p.m., Monday in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Eklid officiating. A luncheon will be served at the conclusion of the services in the Ludington Room located in the Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
