Konnie L. Windsor

DAGGETT — Konnie L. Windsor, 56, of Daggett, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center Hospital in Marinette, Wis. of natural causes.

She was born on August 19, 1968 in Wyandotte, Mich., daughter of John James and Irene Mary (Cayer) LaFave. Konnie graduated from Escanaba High School, class of 1986. While raising her children and working, Konnie was determined to earn her bachelors’ degree, which she accomplished.

For 17 years, Konnie owned and operated Daydream Daycare. Since 2015, she was the assistant safety director for IPEC. Konnie was also a member of the Elks Lodge 354 and enjoyed her time waitressing there.

On June 30, 2018 Konnie married the love of her life, Marty Windsor, at their home in Daggett.

Konnie was a loving and devoted mom. When raising her boys, she always attended their events and enjoyed being involved at their schools. for art, she loved helping out by doing art work throughout the kid’s school, including drawing Campbell Soup kids for display. She could often be found working on stain glass, drawing Precious Moments figurines, or one of her many other creative projects.

Konnie appreciated the outdoors; whether hunting, fishing, going on motor bike rides, or just appreciating the surroundings at their cabin. She had a love of singing and enjoyed doing karaoke. She also was a member of the CVMA 35-1.

Konnie was a people person who poured herself into everyone around her. She had a strong faith and a very special relationship with God. She will be greatly missed.

Among survivors are her husband, Marty; children, Billy Isetts of California, Jordan (Courtney) Isetts of Escanaba, Petey Windsor of Marquette, and Robbie Windsor of Daggett; grandchildren, Annabelle Isetts, Emma Isetts, and Savannah Isetts; siblings, Kathy (Glenn) King of Escanaba, Ed (Lori) LaFave of Gladstone, and Kalinda (Dave) Hahn of Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 8 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Elks Lodge 354, 510 Ludington St., Escanaba.
