Edward ‘Ed’ G. Krizan

GLADSTONE — Edward “Ed” G. Krizan, 92, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at his home.

Ed was born on August 20, 1932 in Kintnersville, Penn. the son of John and Catherine (Zalesak) Krizan. Ed was raised and attended and graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Penn. Ed spent most of his working life in the computer engineering field working for various companies. Ed served in the United States Marine Corps from 1950 until his honorable discharge in 1953. During that time, he served in the Korean War. He also was a devoted parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone, was a former 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus, and was a member of the Marine Corps League. After his retirement, Ed enjoyed woodworking, writing and note taking, and was passionate about reading.

Ed is survived by his wife of 58 years, Karen Krizan; son John (Wendy) and their children Logan and Spencer; son Robert (Anna); and niece Sandy (Robert) Jones.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine, as well as his brothers Frank and John Krizan.

Mass of Christian Burial honoring Ed will be held on Monday, March 24 at noon at the All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall.
