Luella Mae ‘Lolly’ Dahlberg
WALLACE — Luella Mae “Lolly” Dahlberg, 86, of Wallace passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at her home. Lolly was born in Escanaba on May 8, 1938 to George “Copie” and Emma (Martin) Hansen. She was raised on the family farm in Wilson and was a graduate of Bark River High School. On September 3, 1960, Lolly married Barry Dahlberg in Powers.
Lolly loved her crafts, especially her pine cone creations, gardening, canning, crocheting, knitting and collecting angels. She further enjoyed going to her children’s and grandchildren’s activities. Lolly was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Pine Grove craft group, friends card group and former member of the Mid County Homemakers.
Survivors include her children: Nancy (Tony) Broeders of Quinnesec and Kevin (Bia) Dahlberg of Wallace; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews; and the Stanley Peterson family.
Lolly was preceded in death by her parents: Copie and Emma; husband: Barry, sister: Doris (Alan) Brukardt, and brother: Donald “Copie” (Belle) Hansen.
Visitation for Lolly will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Daggett on Friday February 28 from 2 pm CST until time of Funeral Service at 4:00 pm CST with Reverend Charlie Crass officiating. Burial will be in Spalding Township Cemetery in the spring.
Special thanks to Dr. Vernette Carlson who has been a God send for many years and also the nurses and staff at UP Home Health and Hospice for allowing Lolly to spend her final days at home. Your love and kindness did not go unnoticed.
