Keith LaVerne Kermeen

He was born on April 18, 1957 in Waupun, Wis., son of Robert Vernon and Gale Marie (Johnson) Kermeen. Keith attended school at Waupun Area Junior Senior High School, graduating in 1975. While in school he was active in sports, football, wrestling, especially track. He then continued at Palmer Chiropractic College and graduated in 1981.

On August 20, 1983, Keith married Elizabeth “Liz” Pearl Nall in Neenah, Wis. She preceded him in death on August 23, 2020.

Keith opened Kermeen Chiropractic in Escanaba on October 3, 1983 and practiced for nearly 30 years.

He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved music. Keith enjoyed camping, fishing, and supporting the local animal shelter. He was very active in Players de Noc in the ’80s and ’90s along with his wife, Liz. For those that knew Keith would agree that he enjoyed a good drink, a good smoke, and a good time.

Among survivors are his daughter, Stevie Rae (Kyle) Bower of Bark River; brother, Robert Brian (Nancy) Kermeen of California; sister, Cheryl Kermeen of Mexico; brother-in-law, Tom Nall of Platteville, Wis.; and nieces and nephew, Tonya, Diana, Robert Devin, and Drew.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. Eastern Time at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba, MI 49829.
