Edith ‘Edie’ Warner
WELLS — Edith “Edie” Warner, age 83 of Wells, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Edie was born September 10, 1941 in Escanaba, the daughter of Sheldon and Ruby (Vanert) Noggle. She was united in marriage to Raymond Warner on April 29, 1961 at All Saints Church in Gladstone. She worked at the Bishop Noa Home as an account and activities director for over 20 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie 1088 Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening, sewing, spending time with her family, especially her twin grandchildren.
Edie is survived by her husband, Raymond; sons, David (Judy), Scott and Tim Warner; daughter, Lori Warner; grandchildren, Michael and Kevin Botwright; great-grandchildren, Devon, Justin and Chloe; step-grandchildren, Michael (Melissa) Sherman, Vincent (Susan) Sherman and Jennifer (Mickey) Larson; step-great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kyan, Nolan, Brayden, Mya, Veda and Emery and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Clara Lake.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Memorial services will be presented at 4 p.m. by the Eagles Aerie 1088 Auxiliary and Fr. Brandon Yanni. A luncheon will follow at the Escanaba Eagles Lodge.
