Clara had a long history of community service. Among her notable roles were founding president of the local League of Women Voters, president of the Escanaba Area School Board, and president of the Delta County Historical Society. She was instrumental in restoring the Sand Point Lighthouse by writing successful grant proposals to fund the project.

The Mosenfelder family is thankful to Clara’s friends for enriching her life and recommends donations go to the Delta County Historical Society from those choosing to honor her memory.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. The Anderson Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone are assisting the Mosenfelder family with the arrangements and online condolences can be sent to the family at www.andersonfuneralhomes.net.
