HANNAHVILLE — Gary P. Phillips, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.

He was born on August 22, 1984 in Escanaba, Mich. to Gary Phillips and Brenda Megenuph. Gary graduated from Bark River Harris School.

Gary was previously employed for the Hannahville Community.

Playing basketball, reading, and playing chess were some of the activities that Gary loved. He also enjoyed auto detailing and working outdoors.

Among his survivors are his adoptive mother, Pat Donovan of Wilson, Mich.; biological parents, Brenda Megenuph of Hannahville, Mich. and Gary Phillips of Wisconsin; and siblings, Ted (Amber) Wandahsega Jr. of Hannahville and Trischa Addis of Battle Creek, Mich.

Gary is preceded in death by his brother, Lance Phillips.

A visitation will take place on Monday, January 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center.
