Florence Kay Condie
BOISE, Idaho — We regretfully lost Florence Kay Condie, 68, on January 20, 2025 in Boise, Idaho. She passed quietly at home, surrounded by a loving family.
Born in Hastings, Mich. on May 18, 1956 to Danny and Phyllis Ritter, who preceded her in death. A 1974 graduate of Escanaba High School, she was raised in northern Michigan with her brother, Tom and sister, Shelly. She had two children, Lisa and Matthew LeMire, and two grandchildren Isabelle and Kaislee. She relocated with her children to Idaho in the 1980s where she met, and later married Zane Condie in 2013. Zane and Florence built a beautiful life that was focused on each other, family, friends (of which there are many), love and honesty. Following in her father’s footsteps, Flo was a dedicated Detroit Lions fan. As a lover of nature she never passed up an opportunity to go camping,
fishing, hunting or on a trip back to Michigan to see her family. She effortlessly made friends, family and complete strangers fall in love with her beautiful smile and her enormous heart. She became a second mother to many of the kids in Gooding, Idaho in the 90s. In keeping with that sentiment, Flo decided to go back to school and become a certified drug and alcohol counselor so she could help steer people in the right direction. She expanded her work as a counselor, working in behavioral health and crisis intervention. Flo touched so many lives and brought so much light to this world that even now, after she’s gone, that light remains a beacon of hope and love. Florence is survived by her husband, Zane Condie, brother Tom (Karen) Ritter, sister Shelly Heack, stepmother Barbara Ritter, daughter Lisa LeMire, son Matt (Hannah) LeMire, numerous nieces and nephews along with their granddaughters. A celebration of life will take place at a later time.
