Valerie Sue Jacobson

STURGEON BAY, Wis., — Valerie Sue Jacobson, 64, of Sturgeon Bay passed away on December 4, 2024, in the Town of Nasewaupee. She was born on January 30, 1960, in Rapid River, Michigan. She married Larry Joseph Jeanquart on August 2, 2022, at Rapid River, Michigan.

Valerie was a chef for many years and worked at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club and Cherry Hills Golf Course. She also had her CDL and drove heavy trucks. Valerie had a great work ethic and liked to help out on the farm. She enjoyed breeding guinea pigs and rabbits, cooking and baking. She was a lover of all animals especially her horse “Lucky”, and her dog, “Hunter”. She also enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and going to the fair.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; a son, Jamie Bosman; a stepdaughter, Ann Bosman; seven grandchildren, Sean, Kenneth, Charlie, Zachery, Patrick, Patience, and Samara; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and a sister.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 13, at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. the Rev. Anthony Birdsall officiating. A visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and then 10 a.m. Friday until time of services at the funeral home. A prayer service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
