Eugene Edward ‘Ed’ Groleau

ESCANABA — Eugene Edward “Ed” Groleau, 75, of Escanaba, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, at Freeman Nursing and Rehabilitation Community of Kingsford.

Ed was born in Escanaba on Dec. 4, 1949, son of the late Eugene and Marjorie (LaRose) Groleau. He worked for Mayline Industries for many years. In his free time, Ed enjoyed the solitude of his favorite fishing holes.

Ed is survived by his three children, Eugene, Beth (Tim), and Kevin (Laura); five grandchildren, Malyssa, Dustin (Amy), Brittany (Tyler), Austin, and Cody; three great-grandchildren, Ellie, Cillian, and Hannah; six siblings, Tim, Linda (Leonard), Robert (Julie), Pam, Carol, and Danny; and many other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by a daughter, Karla, and three siblings, Shelby, Tony, and Andrea.

A private service will be held at a later date.
