Frank Angelo Bruttosmesso

Frank was born on March 23, 1948 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The son of Angelo and Rose (Giovanelli) Bruttomesso, he was a 1970 graduate of Michigan Tech University with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked for Underwriters Laboratories (UL) in the Chicagoland area for almost 40 years and was part of an International Team to create electrical standards applicable worldwide.

Frank was a devoted father, avid golfer, expert skier, and life-long Packers fan. He was a member of the Gladstone Yacht Club and served on the board of directors for years. Frank had a quick wit and fast insightful answer in any situation.

He was preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind his wife Ann (Minne) Bruttomesso, children Regina (Nick Yeager) Bruttomesso, Joe (Jenna) Bruttomesso and granddaughters Zora and Zinnia Bruttomesso. Also surviving are his two sisters, Maria Zahn and family of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and Christine Katsantonis and family of St. Louis, Missouri.

A private celebration of life will be held later, in the presence of family and close friends. Interment will be in Gladstone’s Fernwood Cemetery.
