Between 80 and 100 protesters gathered at the intersection on Lincoln Road and Ludington Streets Saturday to to tell their elected officials to keep their hands off programs such as Social Security, Medicaid, and VA benefits. The protest was just one of hundreds organized nationwide and throughout the Upper Peninsula. Delta County Unified and ares residents took part in the local protest.
