Help sought in solving theft from church

CRYSTAL FALLS – The Michigan State Police (MSP) is seeking the public’s help in with leads into theft from a U.P. church. On Monday, March 24, at roughly 6 p.m., MSP Iron Mountain Post troopers responded to a break-in at the Faith Fellowship Bible Church located at 1314 US-2 Highway in Crystal Falls. It was discovered that the church was broken into and a gallon-sized jar containing money was stolen. The jar is believed to have $600 to $800 in various denominations. The jar is described as having a push-to-seal line lid and an adhesive backing construction table that reads, “SAMS BURU”, on the front.

The investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made so far. MSP is requesting help identifying the suspect(s) or providing any information that could help with the investigation. Anyone with information should contact the MSP Iron Mountain Post at (906) 774-2122.
