Three Escanaba City Council seats on ballot this year

ESCANABA — The Escanaba City General Election is scheduled for November 4. City Council

Nominating petitions are due in the City Clerk’s Office by 4 p.m. on July 22, 15 weeks prior to the city council election.

The following council member positions are expiring:

– Council Member Mark Ammel is completing his 4 year term;

– Council Member Ronald J. Beauchamp is completing his 4 year term;

– Council Member Todd Flath is completing his 4 year term.

No elector shall sign petitions for more candidates for any office than the number to be elected to office. City Clerk Phil DeMay advised, “The November 4, 2025, City General Election ballot will consist of one section for the Office of Council Member, three positions seeking four-year terms. Qualified City electors may only sign three nominating petitions for individuals seeking candidacy for Council Member.”
