ESCANABA — During a meeting of the Escanaba Brownfield Authority Thursday it was stated that a new business will potentially move into the Delta Plaza Mall.

“We’re down to the wire with the tenant to hopefully sign the lease here soon,” said Bob Furley, of Dial Management, which operates the mall, while explaining the mall’s desire for administrative adjustments to the property’s brownfield redevelopment plan.

No further information was given about the tenant Thursday. The plan adjustments approved by the brownfield redevelopment authority board will, at least partially, be used to prepare the mall for new tenants.
