Gladstone school bonds sole item on May ballot

GLADSTONE — The League of Women Voters of Delta County would like to remind voters that the election on May 6 is a local election. There will be no in-person Early Voting location. Absentee ballots will be available beginning March 27.

The Gladstone School District voters are the only voters in Delta County voting on May 6. They will be presented with two bond proposals. Voters can vote yes on both, no on both, or split their vote. Voters in the Gladstone School District will cast ballots at their normal polling locations. The Gladstone School District has voters in the City of Gladstone, Brampton, and Escanaba Townships.

The LWVDC has updated Vote411 with the wording of the bond proposals for viewing. You can access this information by going to www.Vote411.org and entering your address.

Please note, that if you live outside of the Gladstone School District, you are not eligible to vote in this election.

For those wanting more information about the impact of either proposal, a local group “Brighter Braves Future” will host an event on March 20, at 6 p.m. at Saunders Point Brewing.

Starting at $2.99/week.
