ESCANABA — After the first Super Sports Cards and Memorabilia Show, held at the Delta Chamber building this past Saturday, just over half of the money collected from the $2 admission fee was donated to the Delta Animal Shelter.

191 people attended and shopped from 20 plus vendors with 37 tables at the show, said organizer Adam Hinch, calling the event a success. He noted that some of the vendors were pleasantly surprised that visitors braved the snowy weather to attend.

On Monday, Hinch presented a check for $200 to the animal shelter.

Talks of holding another similar event in July are underway.
