GLADSTONE — A winter staple, the tubing hill in Gladstone at the Besse Sports Park is ready to welcome families and individuals. The tubing hill in Gladstone will open for the season this Friday, Jan. 31.

Opening night is Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. It will also be open on Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m. It is $10 to enter and the department will provide tubes.

Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Robert Brown said he has roughly 120 tubes ready to be used. The Ski chalet will be open, offering concessions and a warm escape. The sports park is located at 900 North Bluff Drive in Gladstone.
