St. Ignace woman arrested for meth, other crimes after traffic stop
ST. IGNACE — A St. Ignace woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, among other charges.
On Wednesday, Jan. 15, around 11:41 p.m., Michigan State Police (MSP) troopers form the St. Ignace Post conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on North State Street near Keightley Street in St. Ignace for an equipment violation.
Troopers identified the driver as Mandy Craven, 38, of St. Ignace. Further investigation determined Craven did not have a valid driver’s license and had outstanding warrants for her arrest.
Further investigation found Craven was in possession of methamphetamine, a felony offense.
She was arrested and placed in the Mackinac County Jail. Craven was arraigned in the 92nd District Court in St. Igance.
Her bond is set at $1,000 and she is due to be back in court on Jan. 21.
