ESCANABA — Starting Monday, Jan. 13, the 100 block of Ludington Street will be completely closed to all traffic so the city can mobilize equipment and materials for the wastewater department’s list station project. The closure is expected to last through the week.

The closure includes all areas from the corner of Ludington Street and South 2nd Street to the intersection between Ludington Street and Lake Shore Drive at the northernmost end of Ludington Park.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
