2025 brings higher gas prices to Michigan
DEARBORN — Gas prices in Michigan are up 11 cents from a week ago. Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.14 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 15 cents more than this time last month and 30 cents more than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $47 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of about $10 from 2024’s highest price last July.
“Michigan motorists are seeing much higher prices at the pump to start the new year,” said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA-The Auto Club Group.
Most expensive gas price averages: Jackson ($3.19), Grand Rapids ($3.19), Ann Arbor ($3.16)
Least expensive gas price averages: Traverse City ($2.97), Marquette ($2.98), Flint ($3.11)
