MIchigan gas prices jump above $3 a gallon

Gas prices in Michigan are up 10 cents from a week ago. Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.04 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 13 cents less than this time last month but 5 cents more than this time last year.

“Motorists across Michigan are seeing higher prices at the pump, as the state average jumps above $3 a gallon,” said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA-The Auto Club Group.

Most expensive gas price averages: Jackson ($3.13), Ann Arbor ($3.08), Grand Rapids ($3.08)

Least expensive gas price averages: Traverse City ($2.92), Marquette ($2.98), Benton Harbor ($3.02)
