How to get tickets
ESCANABA — A limited number of tickets are on sale now for the Taste of the Island: Holiday Edition cooking show that will be held at the Island Resort and Casino the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 10. Tickets — which are available at the Daily Press at 600 Ludington St., Elmer’s County Market and the casino — cost $30 and include a buffet, goodie bags, Sayklly’s chocolate fountain, access to vendors, and entertainment in the form of cooking demonstrations by Chef Kristina Pomeroy and cookie decorating by Chef Nycole Mercier. The dishes prepared by Pomeroy — holiday sides — will also be on the buffet. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show is from 6 to 9 p.m.
