For the record, there were errors in the story “Efforts begin to replace airport administrator,” which ran on page 1A of the Dec. 12 edition of the Daily Press.

The official title for Robert Ranstadler is “airport manager,” not “airport administrator.” Ranstadler, who recently announced his resignation, is planning to stay with the airport until February.

It was also erroneously reported that Assistant Airport Manager Robyn Morrison had already vacated her position with the airport after tendering her own resignation Dec. 3. While it was stated during the County Commission Meeting on Dec. 3 that the county would be losing Morrison “immediately,” Morrison’s resignation provided two weeks notice. Her last day will be Tuesday, Dec. 17.
