ESCANABA — The nominees have been finalized for the annual Daily Press Readers’ Choice Best of the Best contest. The voting round begins today with a ballot in today’s paper.

The nomination process started in early September. Voting now beings and will close November 7.

In the nomination round, readers will already see many of the nominees from last year’s contest in many categories. This is their chance to write in any they believe are missing.

The excitement builds in November with voting on nominees for each business, organization, and attraction in each category. The entries with the most votes will be crowned winners and finalists in each category.

The finalist and winners phase will close on Dec. 20. Winners and finalists will be announced in December 30 in a special print publication in the Daily Press and also on the Daily Press website.
