North 30th closed for railroad work
ESCANABA — North 30th Street at the Canadian National Railroad tracks will be temporarily closed to allow for the railroad to conduct essential maintenance and upgrades of the railroad tracks.
The affected areas include North 30th Street and 16th Avenue North and North 30th Street going east to North 26th Street. These areas will reopen on Thursday, Sept. 26.
CN will place signs marking a detour around the work. Residents and commuters are encouraged to plan alternative routes to avoid delays.
