Delta County Circuit Court Judge John Economopoulos explains court proceedings to Escanaba Upper Elementary School fourth graders Wednesday morning. The Delta County Circuit Courtroom was filled with excited fourth graders from the school when they visited for a field trip. A total of 129 students from five different fourth grade classes were in attendance. The students are learning about government and how courts operate in school, so Economopoulos invited the students to learn first-hand about all the aspects of court operations through a mock trial.
