‘Do it for Daniel’ event in Gladstone
GLADSTONE — A presentation of the documentary “Do it for Daniel” will be held at Gladstone High School, in the auditorium on Monday, April 16 at 6 p.m. The event is free, but donations will be accepted.
“Do it for Daniel” is a documentary about Daniel Olson, star player for the Ishpeming Hematites. Olson struggled with anxiety and depression, which ultimately led him to take his own life at 19.
The film and presentation to educate, reduce the stigma around mental illness, and create a dialogue so those who are affected by anxiety and depression are not afraid to seek help.
