Indivisible Chapter launches in Menominee

MARINETTE, Wis. – The newly formed Marinette-Menominee Indivisible Chapter held its inaugural meeting on March 26 in Marinette, marking the beginning of a local effort to protect democracy and hold the current administration accountable.

Indivisible, a nationwide grassroots movement, organizes rallies, town halls, and advocacy efforts to engage communities in the democratic process. Kandi Klitzke, spokesperson for the new chapter, emphasized the importance of civic participation, stating, “Democracy is not a spectator sport.” She expressed excitement over the strong local support and announced the chapter’s first rally, scheduled for Saturday, April 5, at Stephenson Island.
