Girl Scout cookies are arriving locally
Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes (GSNWGL) are preparing cookie cupboards and warehouses for over one million packages of Girl Scout Cookies arriving over the next two weeks. Starting March 7, Girl Scouts will host cookie booths throughout their communities, honing new entrepreneurial skills and using inventive ways to reach their customers, unboxing brighter futures for themselves and others.
Last year, local Girl Scouts sold over 1.6 million packages of Girl Scout Cookies, donating almost 24,000 packages to women and men serving in the military and to local shelters, frontline workers, and food banks. This season, GSNWGL calls on community members to support their favorite cookies–and the Girl Scouts behind each box. All net proceeds from cookie sales stay local with GSNWGL and their troops to fuel inspiring experiences throughout the year, including camp, amazing trips, service projects, and much more. Please support your local Girl Scouts by ordering from a Girl Scout you know or by visiting www.girlscoutcookies.org to find a booth near you. The Girl Scout Cookie Program at GSNWGL runs through March 31, 2025.
The 2025 cookie lineup is jampacked with the full spread of highly sought-after cookie flavors, including Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties®, and more. All packages of Girl Scout Cookies, including the gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip, will be $6.00 each. At the close of the 2025 Cookie Season, the beloved cookie flavor, Toast-yay!®, will be retired. Toast-yay!® enthusiasts can get their hands on the last of these favorite sweet treats by visiting a local cookie booth, reaching out to a Girl Scout, or ordering online.
When Girl Scouts participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, the largest entrepreneurial program in the world, they acquire a host of invaluable entrepreneurial skills, including goal setting, money management, decision making, people skills, and business ethics. Each box of cookies sold allows Girl Scouts to develop an inextinguishable entrepreneurial spirit, gaining courage, confidence, and character as they conquer new feats and embark on new adventures. Girl Scouts obtain transferable life skills by earning badges and awards, including Cookie Business, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneur badges, and Cookie Entrepreneur Family pins.
