November 9
4:36 pm – A deputy was dispatched to a dog at large complaint on Belgiumtown Rd in Stephenson Township. The caller stated that a man stopped at her house and his dog got out of the car and attacked one of her chickens. The caller requested the man be told not to stop at her house anymore.
November 11
8 am – A deputy was dispatched to a loose dog complaint on M-35 in Menominee Township. The caller stated the neighbor’s dog comes over and defecates in his yard. He stated he wanted to pursue charges. The owner was located and arrested for dog at large. He was given a citation and was advised the court would notify.
November 12
10:06 am – A deputy was dispatched to a two-vehicle traffic crash on US 2 in Meyer Township. A vehicle driven by Rose Vanpeymbrock (93) of Norway was stopped and waiting to turn left into a business when a vehicle driven by Gerald Branstrom (75) failed to see her stopped there and they collided. No injuries were reported in the crash and both vehicles sustained functional damage.
November 13
12:43 pm – A deputy arrested a 36-year-old Spalding man on a valid warrant on Ashland Ave in Spalding Township. The warrant was for operating without security on a motor vehicle out of 94th District Court of Delta County. The man was transported to the Delta County Jail where he was lodged.
November 15
11:11 pm Deputies were dispatched to a domestic assault on Zimmerman’s Ln in Menominee Township. An investigation was conducted and it was found to be a family dispute and the incident was closed.
