North Central students join National Honor Society
POWERS — Ten North Central students were recently inducted into the National Honor Society.
The new members to NHS include early admission sophomores Amilia Eichhorn, Lauren Fazer, Kaden Malone, Nate Pipkorn, Addison Poupore, Violet Riley, and McKenzie Walters; junior Hannah Britton; seniors Alayna Cocco and Jordan Walters. In order to be selected as a member
of the North Central Chapter of NHS, students need to portray the four pillars of National Honor Society: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. Early admission sophomores require a minimum 3.3 GPA while juniors and seniors must maintain a 3.15 GPA.
North Central’s Chapter of the National Honor Society is advised by high school English teacher Brooke Granquist.
