Bay Sages gather February 6 for monthly meeting
ESCANABA–The Bay Sages will gather for their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, February 6 at 10 a.m. at the Joseph Heirman University Center at Bay de Noc Community College.
The Bay Sages is an organization established to provide educational opportunities for older adults residing in the Delta County area. Dues are $20 for the year and includes monthly meetings, coffee and rolls at regular meetings and a wide variety of educational opportunities for members. Guests and new members are welcome. Dues are payable at the meeting or can be mailed to the Bay Sages at Bay College.
Mary Robus, Center of Excellence, Product Development Manager for Billerud, will give a high level overview of the mill and talk through the products produced today, as well as provide an update on how the mill intends to invest based on more recent announcements.
Food items for the Bay College Food Pantry will be accepted at Bay Sages meetings each month.
Upcoming meetings will be: March 6, Jim Soderberg on Presidential Assassinations; April 3, Dan Young on Astronomy; May 1, Jimmy Bruce on AARP; June 5, Bink’s Coca Cola Bottling Company and the birthday luncheon. There will be no meeting in July.
