ESCANABA – The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.
Sheena Marie King, homeless, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamines. King was sentenced to 34 days in jail with credit for 34 days already served. She was also ordered to pay $908 in fines and fees.
Kyle Tyler Prescott, homeless, pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to nine months in jail with credit for 71 days already served. Prescott was also ordered to pay $698 in fines and fees.
Jason Arthur Pavlat, of N8930 County Road 551, in Stephenson pleaded guilty to one count of false report of a felony. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day already served.
Gary Richard Farney, of 4974 Highland 17.6 Drive, in Escanaba pleaded guilty to one count of maintaining a drug house and one count of attempted delivery/manufacture of cocaine, 50-449 grams. He was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for five days already served for each offense. He was also ordered to serve probation for a period of 24 months. Farney was also ordered to pay $416 in fines and fees.
