ESCANABA — Cheryl Andzejewski, Community Foundation for Delta County President, announces a new fund started at the Community Foundation for Delta County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula, called the Thomas A. Mitchell Endowment Fund.

The fund was started by Thomas Mitchell and will help financially support local non-profits, children’s charities and a portion of the fund is earmarked to the Community Foundation for Delta County and can be used for additional community granting.
