ESCANABA — The Community Foundation for Delta County Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) announces the recipients of their October 2024 grant round. The following organizations receiving grants are:

Great Lakes Sports and Recreation Club – Summer Youth Shooting Program

Escanaba Area Public Schools – Sensory Wall Control Panel, Phase 2

Escanaba New Life Assembly – Royal Ranger Pinewood Derby Track Updates

City of Escanaba Catherine Bonifas Civic Center – After School Program

Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes – Establishing Equity in the Delta County Girl Scout Leadership Experience

Community Foundation for Delta County Executive Director, Cheryl Andzejewski and YAC Youth Advisor, David Radloff stated, “The foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee is made up of a bunch of very impressive young adults that want to help make a difference. They give-up of their time to make our community and its residents a better place to learn, play and live.”

Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) Co-Chair Diana Clark announced the April 2025 grant round will “open” on Friday, February 28 and all grant application requests and requirements must be received by 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1 in order to be considered. Individuals and organizations/service clubs do not qualify for grant funds.
