Sept. 11
8:42 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Bellefueil Ln in Harris Township for a report of a malicious destruction of property complaint. Upon further investigation it was found to be a civil matter and the incident was cleared.
1:00 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to US 41 in Menominee Township for a larceny complaint. Upon further investigation the suspect, a 37-year-old Menominee woman was arrested and charged with financial crimes. The woman was transported to the Menominee County Jail where she was lodged.
Sept. 12
9:09 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to CR 551 for a civil complaint. The caller stated they were arguing about the ownership of a vehicle which is civil in nature. The property owner requested the caller be warned of criminal trespass on his property. She was advised and the incident was cleared.
1:21 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to a one vehicle traffic crash on River Dr in Menominee Township. A vehicle driven by Alfred Rasmussen (93) of Menominee was traveling north when he ran onto the shoulder of the roadway which caused the vehicle to rollover several times. Rasmussen was removed from the vehicle and transported to the hospital for his injuries.
6:48 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Cedar St in Mellen Township for a larceny complaint. The caller stated her residence was broken into and several items were stolen. The caller wanted it reported but did not want the suspects questioned.
Sept. 13
7:13 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to a suspicious subject on Kell Rd in Spalding Township. The caller stated there was a subject in the ditch without a shirt on and appears to be camping out. Subject was biking through the area and stopped to rest.
11:55 a.m. A deputy initiated a traffic stop on US 41 in Menominee Township for speed. Upon further investigation the driver, a 34-year-old Marinette man was arrested on two valid warrants out of 95A District Court of Menominee for failure to appear for show cause on the original charges of defective equipment and no proof of insurance. The man was lodged at the Menominee County Jail without incident.
3:37 p.m. A deputy was advised to contact a subject in Ingallston Township for a suspicious situation. An abandoned four-wheeler was found on a wooded area. After further investigation it was found to be owned by a subject from the area that had left it there.
Sept. 14
4:20 p.m. A deputy along with fire were dispatched to Railroad Ave in Daggett Township for a smell of gas. DTE responded and the leak was contained.
Sept. 15
12:36 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to a car vs deer crash on Old US 41 in Daggett Township. Upon further investigation the driver, a 19-year-old Menominee man was arrested for operating while intoxicated as well as for filing a false police report. He had originally told the Deputy he struck a deer when in fact he struck a residence.
2:55 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a 911 hang up call on M-35 in Menominee Township. Upon further investigation the suspect, a 29-year-old Menominee man, was arrested for domestic assault and aggravated assault. He was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged.
6:05 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to an unlawful driving of a vehicle complaint on US 41 in Daggett Township. The caller stated he got out of his vehicle at a residence to put a lawn mower away and a male took off with his vehicle without permission. The suspect was later located in Marinette. Charges are pending
6:17 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to a traffic crash on CR 348 in Mellen Township. A vehicle driven by Pamela Menor of Daggett was traveling north on US 41 when a vehicle pulled out in front of her causing her to run off of the roadway and collide with a cable box. No injuries were reported in the crash.
Sept. 16
7:21 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to Cedar St in Spalding Township for a threat’s complaint. The caller stated her son threatened them and then left. An investigation was conducted and the subject was located.
8:15 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to a larceny on US 41 in Spalding Township. The caller stated they had some construction stolen. An investigation was conducted and is ongoing.
Sept. 18
6:15 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a family dispute on CR 577 in Faithorn Township. Caller stated that her daughter is being disrespectful and has now taken off into the woods. The child was located and turned back over to the caller.
4:05 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Robert St in the City of Stephenson for a larceny complaint. The caller stated things are missing from her mother’s residence. An investigation was conducted and is ongoing.
6:27 p.m. A deputy along with rescue were dispatched to a motorcycle vs deer crash on River Dr in Menominee Township. A dirt bike driven by Kurt Beaudo (48) of Menominee was traveling on River Rd when a deer ran out causing a collision. Beaudo was thrown from his bike and was later transported to the hospital for his injuries.
10:29 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to an assault on CR 358 in Daggett Township. The caller stated a neighbor assaulted him but left before Deputies arrived. The caller stated he did not want to press charges at this time.
Sept. 19
12:30 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to a residence for a suspicious subject in the area of CR 577 in Mellen Township. The caller stated a younger male came to her residence and was asking odd questions. She was concerned the subject was casing her residence.
5:20 p.m. A deputy was contacted by a subject in reference to a fraud complaint on CR 348 in Mellen Township. The caller stated her computer was compromised and they were asking for them to put money on a Walmart card and then scan the codes over to them.
Sept. 20
9:54 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to a disorderly unwanted subject on Pine Ave in Spalding Township. Upon further investigation the subject, a 38-year-old Spalding man, was arrested on a valid warrant out of 95A District Court of Menominee for failure to appear on an original charge of no proof of insurance. The man was lodged at the Menominee County Jail.
3:55 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to a traffic crash on US 2 &41 in Harris Township.
Sept. 21
2:12 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to a suspicious situation on Pine Hill Ct in Menominee Township. The caller stated there was an argument between neighbors. It was resolved and the incident was cleared.
5:55 p.m. A deputy were dispatched to Rangeline Dr in Ingallson Township for a domestic assault. An investigation was conducted and the suspect, a 43-year-old Menominee woman, was located after leaving the scene and was arrested. She was lodged at the Menominee County Jail without incident.
Sept. 22
3:13 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to a personal injury crash on Labelle Rd in Spalding Township. A vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Hermansville man crashed his vehicle into the ditch. Upon further investigation the driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated and possession of open intoxicants. The Hermansville man was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
10:16 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to a one vehicle traffic crash on M-69 in Spalding Township. A vehicle driven by, Daniel Johnson (21) of Perronville was traveling east when he fell asleep and entered the ditch and strike a tree. No injuries were reported in the crash but the vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.
5:43 p.m. A deputy was advised to contact a subject in reference to a malicious destruction of property complaint on CR 338 in Menominee Township.
7:28 p.m. A deputy initiated a traffic stop on Main St in Spalding Township for no license plate. Upon further investigation the driver, a 36-year-old Spalding man was arrested on four valid warrants. Three of the warrants were for failure to pay fines and costs and one for failure to appear for show cause all out of 95A District Court of Menominee. The man was also arrested for driving while license suspended and operating without security. The Spalding man was transported to the jail where he was able to post the required bond and was released.
