ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.
Jessica Lee Bailey, of 314 South 10th Street, Apt. 2, in Escanaba pled guilty to one count of attempted delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance – methamphetamine. Bailey was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for five days already served. She was also ordered to pay $848 in fines and fees.
Mitchel Alan LaFave Jr., of 818 Dakota Avenue, in Gladstone pled guilty to one count of manufacture/possession of explosives – molotov cocktail. He was sentenced to 10 months in jail with credit for 227 days already served. He was also ordered pay $698 in fines and fees.
Roy Scott Kobasic, of 5112 Danforth Road, in Escanaba pled guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 134 days in jail with credit for 134 days already served. Kobasic was also ordered to pay $198 in fines and fees.
Noel Delalus Sagataw, of 1409 7th Avenue South, lower apt., in Escanaba was found guilty by a jury on three counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and one count of assault and battery. Sagataw was sentenced to seven months in jail for each assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer charge with credit for three days already served. In addition to 93 days for the assault and battery charge with credit for 7 days already served. The sentences will be served concurrently. Sagataw was also ordered to pay $884 in fines and fees.
