Local authors featured at Escanaba Library Author Fair
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Public Library will host the 2024 Local Author Fair on Saturday, October 26 from 12 to 2:45 p.m. in the library. Book lovers are invited to come out to meet and chat with local authors and browse a wide selection of locally written books available for purchase and signing. Featured authors will include John Gubbins (Authentic Wilderness, 2022), Michael K. Peach (The Adventures of Argyle Sock, 2024), Amanda Reou (Goodnight Gratefuls, 2024), John Hager (Hunter’s Drum, The Bidding of Shadows, 2021), David Curtis (A Second Home 2021), W. Patrick Winton (Farmed Out in Ontonagon County, 2024), Mary McCune (Rumpelknitskin Makes Things Right, 2022), Peter Wurdock (A Nostalgic Lens, 2023), and Steven Sprague (Understanding His Story-Humanity’s Eleventh Hour, 2023).
“The library is pleased to provide this opportunity to connect authors with their book fans and do a little book selling,” says Monique Ciofu, Adult Services.
The Author Fair will be in the library. No registration required, and the event is free. Complimentary refreshments to be served.
